We’re two days away from Halloween, which used to be one of the biggest, craziest nights of the year on Franklin Street. Many UNC students went all out with costumes and partying, and students from other universities would road trip just to celebrate it here.
But now more and more of those road trips are heading away from Chapel Hill. The town’s recent effort to tone down the Halloween celebration has drastically decreased the number of downtown party-goers.
