Recent grads struggle to begin careers

Jacqueline Scott, a 2011 UNC graduate, has made a full time job out of finding a job.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate among college students is about five percent. So, most college grads have jobs.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re doing what they had hoped.

We meet one member of UNC’s class of 2011 who aspires to work in journalism, but for now is working at a restaurant.
