Social media and the 1st amendment

Social media played a big role in protests like occupy Wall Street. ā€“ more people are using technology to connect, share a secret, or vent a fear. A new study from the James L. Knight Foundation suggests that the more students tweet, blog or use Facebook, the more they value free speech. But thatā€™s not necessary the case on UNCā€™s campus.
