“Fracking” could come to NC

North Carolinians are debating a controversial form of natural gas exploration, called hydraulic fracturing – nicknamed “fracking.” Fracking wells are all over Pennsylvania, Texas and Louisiana. For them to appear here, North Carolina legislators would have to legalize parts of the process. Landowners are trying to learn more about fracking, and how it could impact their land and their communities.
