Football program tries to move on from scandal, recruit new talent

While the Tar Heels look to continue the success on the field, a big off the field issue may be whether they can keep recruiting top high school prospects. UNC will reduce football scholarships and put the program on two-years’ probation. That’s part of its answer to the NCAA infractions committed while Butch Davis was coach.  The trouble may make UNC a tough sell to high school football stars.
