Social media sites source of viruses

Next time you’re on Facebook keeping up with friends or on Twitter following one of your favorite personalities, you may not want to click on that appealing little link or pop-up ad.

According to the latest Internet Security Threat Report published by the anti-virus company Symantec, Facebook and other social media websites are among the key targets of malware and viruses.

Some UNC students have learned that lesson the hard way.
