UNC system president Thomas Ross says a 15 percent budget cut would cost the system 3,200 jobs and 9,000 class sections. That comes from this week’s UNC system Board of Governors meeting. Administrative positions have been eliminated in earlier rounds of cuts, and there may not be a way to trim any more.
