Program aims to mentor children of incarcerated parents

A Chatham County group is searching for positive role models for children who desperately need them. Chatham County Together is a non-profit agency in Siler City looking for volunteers to work with children whose parents are in prison.

The Mentoring Children of Prisoner’s program is funded through a federal grant, but works with the support of volunteers.
