UNC library collections go digital

By Michael Tomsic

The Carolina Digital Library and Archives is building a digital record of books, manuscripts and other materials from Wilson Library’s historic collections. Every day, staff members scan hundreds of pages of documents and put them online.  Documents like one it released this week — a booklet from the 1938 State Fair — are now available to anyone with an Internet connection. Visit the digital records here:  http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=collection%3Aunclibraries&sort=-publicdate.
