Chapel Hill town officials are still deciding how to regulate food trucks– the restaurants on wheels that offer burritos, crepes and even deep-fried Twinkies. Carrboro welcomes the trucks, but Chapel Hill laws discourage them. Truck owners say it’s unfair to keep them out, but restaurant owners fear the trucks are bad for business.
