Republicans fight to repeal ASG fee

UNC College Republicans are pushing for a student vote to repeal a $1 fee that each student is required to pay. The fee funds the Association of Student Governments, a group of student leaders from each of the 17 UNC System schools. The Republican group says the funding is unnecessary, but ASG members defend it as an essential way for student leaders across the state to exchange ideas.
