The foul-smelling trees have become an invasive species, and some North Carolina residents who remove the tree from their yards will be rewarded with one native tree of their choice.

A UNC student is leaving the frogs around campus for her peers to find. She hopes it will raise awareness of mental health resources following August’s fatal shooting.
