UNC LGBTQ community celebrates Ally Appreciation Week

Chapel Hill is known for being a liberal and progressive town in North Carolina. People from all races, sexualites and different backgrounds live here. This week, UNC’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Center had its annual LGBTQ Ally Appreciation week. People who support the center received special discounts at participating businesses if they wore an ally pin.
