UNC has begun to have federal grants canceled and paused, and others remain at risk

Many federal grants remain frozen after President Donald Trump ordered a temporary halt January 28.  That’s despite the fact that a federal judge blocked the order before it came into effect. UNC receives about $600 million dollars in National Institutes of Health funding alone.

Carolina Connection’s Lily Kane has been looking into how the grant freeze is affecting UNC researchers and programs.
