UNCs First Amendment Day is coming up Wednesday. The event arrives as free press and expression rights face threats nationwide. A federal judge recently issued a temporary restraining order reversing a White House ban on journalists from CNN, Politico, and MS Now. The ruling highlights ongoing legal battles over government transparency.

Joining us is Alex Morey, First Amendment specialist with the Freedom Forum, a nonpartisan organization that aims to foster First Amendment freedoms for all. Morey will lead a student workshop on campus for First Amendment day.
