UNC alum and soccer great Carla Overbeck continues to advocate for women athletes

From UNC to the World Cup, Former American soccer player Carla Overbeck helped change the future of women’s sports by leading the U.S. women’s national team to two FIFA world cups and an Olympic gold medal.

Zoe Behrendt tells the story of her impact – which went far beyond the game – paving the way for better resources, equality, and opportunities for generations of female athletes – inlcuding her own daughter.
