Gas prices are up because of the Iran war, and experts say they likely won’t come back down soon.

In the days following the initial strike on Tehran, gas prices across North Carolina climbed by about 20 cents. To understand why, we spoke with Matthew Metzgar, a clinical professor of economics at UNC Charlotte.
