Ackland exhibit explores masculinity as boys become men

The Ackland Art Museum recently opened a new exhibit featuring documentary photography from local artist Bill Bamberger.

The exhibit explores masculinity and the transition from boyhood to manhood from the perspective of Durham School of the Arts High School students. The exhibit encourages viewers to consider changing ideas around gender through its 42 color portraits on display.
