Doctors say the state’s low vaccination rate is making the flu more common and more severe

North Carolina has reported 279 flu-related deaths so far this season. Experts say cases are more numerous and severe because some people are hesitant to get vaccinated.

Anthony Guerra-Flores spoke to a student who’s still recovering from the flu.
