Following the example of their prized insects, beekeepers are helping provide students with food

SNAP benefits are resuming after the federal government shutdown. In Orange County, officials are saying recipients could start to see payments this weekend.  Still, food insecurity remains a challenge for many students.

Here’s how one UNC club is trying to help: The Beekeeping Club is selling honey from their on-campus hives and donating the proceeds to a campus food pantry.
