Unwelcome in parking decks, students seek a new place on campus to skateboard

There are few places on UNC’s campus for students to skateboard. Police last month shut down a practice session of the UNC Skate Club in Cobb parking deck. Now club members  are pushing for Campus Recreation to include an official skate spot in the university’s new rec complex that’s currently being designed.
