For patients at UNC and Duke Hospitals, volunteer musicians offer comfort and connection

Volunteers at UNC and Duke University hospitals are providing comfort and connection through music.

In a stressful environment, they perform for patients, visitors, and healthcare workers. And research shows that music might be helping the healing process.
