Tired of competing with “dings and buzzes,” schools implement NC’s new cell phone ban

In North Carolina public schools, some teachers are celebrating, but many students are feeling disconnected. That’s because of a new state law that restricts cell phones in the classroom. The law takes effect in January, but many school systems already have banned them.

As Carolina Connection’s Rachel Moody reports, the ban looks different from school to school.
