If you’ve ever walked through the bustling heart of campus and heard music bumping on a weekday chances are you’ve met one of UNC’s legends — the crossing guard, who goes by the name “Whiz.” His real name is Hasan Wilson Jr. And in his eight months in the crosswalk on South Road he has created a community of good vibes and music.
