Some local Jewish community members say Trump’s visa crackdown isn’t really about fighting antisemitism

The U.S. Justice Department has reversed the visa revocations for some students around the country — at least temporarily. But the State Department also has revoked visas, and it said one of the reasons is antisemitism. They targeted students who took part in Pro-Palestinian protests.

Some members of the local Jewish community – even some who opposed the protests – take issue with the Trump Administration’s action.
