The Trump Administration throws local Ukrainian refugees’ status into flux

Three years after the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine, the United States’ policy towards the two countries has undergone a seismic shift. The Trump Administration has pressured Ukraine to make major concessions to Russia – and the U.S.

Meanwhile, the White House also is considering revoking the temporary legal status of 240,000 Ukrainian refugees who are now in the United States.  Hundreds of them are in the Triangle.

Carolina Connection is joined now by Carrie Norry of Judea Reform Congregation in Durham. She works with refugees in the Triangle to help them be a part of the community.
