Cookout seeks to build community and ease tensions between off-campus students and their neighbors

With the start of another year at Carolina, students have moved back into historic neighborhoods in Chapel Hill and Carrboro. The Good Neighbor Initiative held their annual community cookout Thursday evening, which featured music, games, and food. They’re working to foster a spirit of community between students and residents.
