Nine months after a devastating fire, the Med Deli prepares to rise from the ashes

Last summer, a fire broke out at the beloved Chapel Hill restaurant, Mediterranean Deli. Owner Jamil Kadoura and his staff have spent the last nine months navigating their “new normal” and anticipating repairs.

Helen Wickett catches up with Kadoura and his team.

    Some of their vans are parked in the same apartment complex as me
