Interim Chancellor Lee Roberts discusses campus safety, free speech, and the state’s political environment

Following the departure of Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz last semester, UNC System President Peter Hans named Lee Roberts as UNC’s Interim Chancellor December 15.

Roberts, a finance executive in Raleigh, previously served on the UNC System Board of Governors and as budget director for Republican former Governor Pat McCrory.

He joins us now to discuss his time as interim chancellor so far and his future at Carolina.
