New programs address food insecurity at UNC

Several new programs are rolling out to address a longstanding problem – food insecurity among college students. UNC leaders say Carolina Dining Services is gearing up to start some new initiatives. Meanwhile, several campus organizations already have things in place, including NC-PIRG, The Carolina Cupboard, and the Campus Y. Carolina Connection’s W.H. Hayes talked to some of them.
