UNC stresses cybersecurity awareness as students fall victim to phishing schemes

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and UNC’s IT  office says students are among those who need to be aware. Over the past few months, several students have received emails in their UNC inbox that are phishing scams.

The messages hope to trick students into providing sensitive information. And as Tianyi Wang reports, sometimes they succeed.
