CarolinaCast: Anthony James is passionate about DEI – a concept that is increasingly controversial

Since January 3, a new figure has been engaging with students at several spots around campus. Anthony James joins the UNC-Chapel Hill community as the first Director of DEI (or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) for two schools – the School of Education and the School of Information and Library Science.

Denise Stroud reports on what she learned from her conversations with James, and the controversy surrounding DEI programs.
