Last week, Campus Y co-presidents Megan Murphy and Laura Saavedra Forero planted themselves on the front steps of South Building for 32 hours. They were protesting UNC’s lack of accessibility for disabled students. Last year, Saavedra Forero and another student, Eleanor Bolton, were stuck in their dorm for 32 hours when the elevator broke.

Megan Murphy joined Carolina Connection’s Will Christensen to talk about the protest.
