New book investigates the role of gender in Disney and Pixar films

Disney and Pixar have been shaping childhoods for generations. Movies like Mulan, Brave, and Moana have shifted traditional gender norms for female characters. But in a recent analysis of over 31 films, the journey of male characters might not have come so far.
