Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan faces legal challenges and raises questions

Earlier this week, several attorneys general in Republican-led states sued the Biden administration over its plan to forgive a portion of student loans owed to the federal government. But even for those who are still eligible, problems with the application process could keep qualified borrowers from having their debt forgiven.
