UNC’s plans to demolish its historic Naval Armory; alumni are trying to save it

For 80 years, UNC’s Naval Armory has stood near the center of campus. It’s where ROTC students take classes, and where thousands of future service members have trained. But UNC has announced plans to tear down the building and move the ROTC elsewhere.

As Reagan Allen reports, some alumni and veterans are trying to save it.
