Nationwide trend of increasing rent impacts Chapel Hill residents looking for housing

Rent prices across the US reached new heights during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Chapel Hill is no exception. Rent is still up more than 18 percent compared to last September, according to Apartment List. UNC students are feeling the effects.
