As phone companies phase out 3G, Chapel Hill Transit riders no longer can track buses

Riders on Chapel Hill Transit no longer can track the location of buses online, because the system relied on 3G technology that phone companies are phasing out. (Town of Chapel Hill)

Chapel Hill Transit riders are now unable to track buses after AT&T stopped its 3G service. That’s left students, faculty, and other riders waiting at bus stops longer, or even finding new ways to get around campus.
