UNC program incorporates discussions of race and equity into classes

SLATE, also known as the Student Learning to Advance Truth and Equity initiative, teaches undergraduate students about race, racism, and racial equity. The program, integrated into some UNC classes, encourages students to have meaningful conversations about race on campus…and hopes to gain more traction in the coming years.
