Trans tattoo artist provides inclusive space in Carborro for fresh ink

In a private studio tucked away on Weaver Street in Carrboro, a trans woman tattoo artist is proudly working in a white-male dominated industry and leveling the power dynamic between artist and client.

Carolina Connection’s Jade Wilson spoke with Rosemary Van Dyke about her identity as a trans woman while she gave Jade a tattoo.
