The life saving anti-overdose drug Naloxone faces a nationwide shortage

Overdose deaths in the U.S. hit an all-time high last year, an increase associated with the pandemic and synthetic opioids like fentanyl.

Fortunately, there’s a drug to reverse opioid overdoses. Unfortunately, there’s a nationwide shortage. The medication is Naloxone, name brand Narcan.
