UNC held a day-long virtual summit Monday to address the community’s concerns about mental health on campus – and the inadequate resources to address it. Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz announced the summit last month in response to multiple student suicides and a growing waitlist for the university’s Counseling And Psychological Services. Guskiewicz attended the event, acknowledging the scope of the problem.

Senior and UNC Women’s Soccer player Carly Wetzel was a student panelist at the summit. She joins us to talk about it.
