‘Our kids are coming to Carolina in bad shape,’ Board of Trustees told

This week, the UNC Board of Trustees heard an update on what Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz has called a “mental health crisis” on campus. After multiple student suicides, UNC officials said they’re trying to respond to a greatly increased need for mental health resources as students return to a more traditional campus life.
