UNC expert: U.S. involvement in Afghanistan fell far short of its goal

After 20 years, the United States has ended its occupation in Afghanistan. President Biden withdrew the last remaining troops in the region just over a week ago. Navin Bapat is the Chair of the UNC curriculum on Peace, War, and Defense. 

Jayda Williams spoke with him to discuss the impact of the withdrawal and its connections to the events of 9/11.
