Student veterans reflect on how 9/11 impacted their lives

After two decades, the events of 9/11 continue to affect the nation. The attacks on September 11 were a major reason the United States went to war in Afghanistan. For veterans, the event did not just change national history…it changed their lives forever.

Carolina Connection’s Levi Pitts talked with UNC veterans about the lasting effects.
