From August 1st to September 1st, the Carolina Together COVID-19 dashboard reported 483 positive tests among students and staff. Testing is required twice a week for unvaccinated students. Unvaccinated faculty and staff will be required to test weekly beginning September 15.

Vaccinated members of the campus community can complete voluntary testing. The university said it does not recommend testing more than once per week for asymptomatic vaccinated people.
