The Chapel Hill Town Council has declared a climate emergency. That means the Council recognizes the dangers of climate change, and that the local government needs to prioritize ways to fight it. With the help of local activists, the town adopted its Climate Action and Response Plan. By focusing on renewable energy and sustainability, town leaders promise a greener Chapel Hill.
