College athletes are hoping to win on a different kind of court – the Supreme Court. In March, justices heard arguments in a case on college athlete compensation. The NCAA argued it should be able to limit collegiate athlete pay to preserve amateurism. Depending on the ruling, institutions might have to change the way their athletic departments operate.
Bubba Cunningham, UNC’s Athletic Director, has been speaking out on the issue.
