Carolina blues: Class of 2020 upset over plans for a scaled-back commencement

Graduation day is a rite of passage and the culmination of hard work for college students. However, the UNC Class of 2020 hasn’t had the opportunity to celebrate. COVID-19 cancelled the graduation ceremony, leaving alumni disappointed. Now, UNC has announced plans for what it calls a reunion and commencement weekend in October. For many, that disappointment has turned to anger.
