While women are getting seats at the table, they face structural barriers to equality

March is Women’s History Month, and President Joe Biden’s picks for the cabinet include more women than any other in presidential history. However, even with a more gender-balanced cabinet, women still face serious barriers to equality, and the pandemic is contributing.

Aurora Charlow spoke about those issues with Professor Ariana Vigil, the chair of UNC’s women and gender studies department.
